Main differences between 2008 and 2009 E350?

I’m looking to get an E350 from one of these years, and obviously I know the 2009 is going to be more refined. But I am just wondering what are some of the main differences/upgrades between the years, and if it is worth spending ~$1800 more for a 2009 I’m looking at that has 8000 more miles than the 2008 I’m looking at.

from my limited experience during my shopping for a w211, both are face-lift versions so they can be exactly the same! so it will come down to the differences in actual options that will make one stand out over another, plus of course mileage, overall condition, vehicle history, color combo, etc.

i would gladly take a well cared for 2008 with less options than a higher mileage 2009 with an unknown history! that 2009 better have an impeccable history and/or a desirable list of options if it demands that much more $ with higher miles.

If you are leaving the radio stock, there are differences with the bluetooth implementation. I have a 2008 and I can connect for phonecalls only with the blue-tooth adapter in the back of the center console, but I can't stream music through it so I am using a bluetooth FM transmitter for now. The 2009 has better bluetooth implementation, although I don't know the details.

could you tell me anything else more you know about the bluetooth differences? Because that is the main thing I am concerned about other than the AMG sport package; I know the head unit got an upgrade from 08-09 but Im not sure what it included
