Exclamation Squeak (passenger side rear)

I noticed a squeaky sound resonating from the passenger side rear some time back. It seems more consistent now. Looking at the rear wheel geometry, I don’t know what if any are sealed with grease. Are the swing arm pivots greased seals? The car has 152,000 miles. Drives and handles great. It has the 3L diesel engine.

Nah, no such thing as grease seals on there. More likely your subframe bushings need to be replaced, they are the ones that commonly squeak.

As a matter of fact, I've noticed some weird squeak/resonating sound on my right rear last couple of weeks or so, and I also have annoying pull in rear when I drive on pavement and go over repaired asphalt. I've thought that there might be something in rear as the whole front is rebuilt.

Thank you. I’ve owned this car since 2016. The first time I viewed the suspension was last year when it was on a lift. Some of the bushings are difficult to see, however I don’t see anything visible worn.

Checking static suspension bushings is just a guess work. If they are really old and dry rotted, it's no brainer, but like yours, they don't look bad. Only way to diagnose them is to lift vehicle up and use pry bar or shaker plates if available at the workshop.

Good information! There’s an excellent independent Mercedes shop near my home. Their business is so good, they don’t use Goggle Map. Very knowledgeable about Mercedes Benz. I may wait and observe this squeak. It’s not a daily driver. Last year I drove my Mercedes 1200 miles.
