Need Help with A/C clutch
We have a "new to us" W211 2006 E350 sedan that has a noisy A/C clutch bearing. The bearing size in the existing the clutch is 35mm x 52mm x 12mm. Replacement clutches from R&Y Comp. and eBay have bearings that are 20mm thickness instead of 12mm and don't fit the compressor "nose." I ordered just a new bearing of correct size but would prefer to get a whole new clutch assembly. Any guidance on where to get the correct clutch assembly is appreciated.

Change the compressor. There is no clutch. They operate anytime the engine is running. Denso is OE. I just did mine after 120k miles. No pointbin repairing at this age so if you want your a/c to function trouble free, best bet is compressor and reciever dryer replacement.

Thanks for the comments guys....Yes, it's an always engaged drive pulley..not a clutch as referred to by aftermarket outfits. Full replacement of compressor etc. is good advice.
