Clunk sound at idle
In my 2006 e350 4matic at idle once it warms up sometimes/most of the time the transmission or something makes a tick sound like tick….tick tick and from inside there a clunk that like shakes the car a bit like you can feel it but very little and sometimes when you rev at idle and hold it the clunk is really load and shakes the car but then it goes away in gear

I'm going to take a guess and say Motor Mounts. The earlier W211 with the M112/M113 engine has a history of chewing up motor mounts very quickly. I'm not sure about later years with the newer 3.5L engine. But it is worth checking out. Could also be the transmission mount. I would suggest having both motor mounts and the transmission mount replaced at the same time. It is a wear and tear item. You'll be amazed at how smooth your car is after replacing the mounts.
