Command System stuck in boot loop
I am writing this as a sort of last resort before attempting to have it looked at by technicians.
I've owned an E350 from 2008 for a good amount of months now and my command system is failing? Today I was operating it like usual when a crunching sound came out of the speakers and audio stopped working. The command froze and has been in a boot loop of the mercedes logo since then. A few times the system has come back to life playing music briefly then freezing and powering down once again.. Is this a potential loose connection or is there a larger electrical failure at play, i,.e auxiliary battery or trunk battery? Six disk changer will not open reliably either, every so often it will open and the leds to indicate full slots are dim and flickery when it does happen. One more thing to note is all other electronics operate as per usual.
