Transmission issues W211 E500 2003 PO730 and PO715
Since I owned the car, I kept having issues with the transmission in low speeds where the car would jerk awkwardly forward and back , only got a code PO730
been researching for a while and a lot of people recommended changing the oil in the transmission
Bear in mind that apart from that the car was running ok
after the transmission oil change
I picked it up drove it for 10km and it run 100% worse then before now when I put it in drive I have to wait a good 10-15 seconds before it actually moves off, when it shifts from 1-2 gear It drops out of gear and then goes back into gear, and it overall runs much worse then before,
I returned it to the Mehanic which changed it and said that it is running much worse then before . I told them the codes I am getting now to which they said they will investigate
what do I do know other are saying that the conductor plate is most likely the culprit , other are saying that the gearbox needs replacing
What are your thoughts on this issue

Until the gearbox warms a bit, if I put it in first gear manually from stop then shift manually to second gear, there's no jerking. So, I shift manually first to second gear til the car is warmed. If the driver allows the jerking to continue for a period of time unabated, seems it may damage the drivetrain, it's that severe.
Im thinking the cost of repairing the jerks (conductor plate?) will approach the dear car's value, which ain't much.
There are other threads here that address the topic. I can live with it, since the manual shift eliminates the jerking but a fix would be preferred (unless it's costly).
Any input appreciated.
Cheers, Mark
