Shaking going higher speeds.
I drive a w211 e500 2003, and the car itself shakes around going 100km/h+.
I changed my tires from Winter to Summer tires, I’m not sure I had the same problem before I can’t remember.
I changed my front air struts a couple of weeks ago on a hot summer day, and went for a test drive, I had no problem going over 250km/h on the Autobahn, 0% shaking at all didn’t even notice the speed in my Benz going that fast.
The weird part about it was that on Colder, Rainy days I suspect it to happen more often than on „warmer“ days.
Could it be that my tires need new balancing, also eventually my Airmatic ride height not being 100% even with the tires itself?
I made the notice of my left front air strut being lower than usual when I changed the tires, that’s when I decided to change both front air struts.
I read somewhere that it cold be the propeller shaft itself? I hear no noise coming there.
As I said the whole car shakes like crazy.
Im really confused, when i checked in Xentry for the ride height itself could it be the system realigned my Airmatic to the exact same ride height when I did my Front Air struts, that’s why I didn’t have any problems going that high speed the same day?
Im really confused.
