E200k - Unsolvable shudder at low throttle
I've purchased a 2007 E200 with the supercharged 1.8 M271 engine, manual gearbox. It's had an issue with a intermittent shudder at low throttle position / cruise (regardless of revs) that presents itself only in closed-loop. It'll accelerate fine, and at high speeds (above 60MPH) it's also fine. The car will stall in neutral as soon as the secondary air system flap closes, upon restart it will not stall again.
I've previously had DTCs P0410, P2020 and P0220. I've replaced the crank position sensor, camshaft adjuster magnets, spark plugs, 2/4 ignition coils, gearbox mount, throttle pedal, secondary air injection system hoses (vacuum/hose from sc resonator). There are now no DTCs, though both problems remain. The shudder improves after replacing the gearbox mount, and maybe slightly after the crank position sensor. It's quite a severe shudder, as though the engine is missing a spark, there's a smell of fuel at idle and the LTFTs are -10 to -3% depending on the day. O2, manifold pressure and MAF sensors seem to respond and all responses correlate with one another when graphed. Disconnecting the secondary air system solenoid means it doesn't stall, still shudders badly though.
Any help is greatly appreciated. If I could force the car to run in open loop I'd even be happy enough.
