722.6 Valve body.

Instead of rebuilding valve body of transmission, Has anyone ever tried a complete reman valve body? And from where? Had any luck?
I have a '06 Wagon that has already had the conductor plate, connector sleeve and filter done already. I am a technician yet don't have a ton of experience/knowledge on the 722.6 5g transmissions. I have worked on Mercedes for a long time, yet newer models then this. I have more knowledge with 772.9 7g and the later 9G transmissions. My torque converter valve is most likely worn (sonnax makes the update), it has a harsh engagement when cold. Once the transmission warms up it is fine. Fluid has always looked good and has been serviced every 40k or so. There are more likely other issues with the valve body as my complaint is the cold converter operation and then also late shifts. The shifts are smooth and precise yet delayed. I'm sure various bores are worn, solenoids need replaced (they worked when swapping out conductor etc.) Yet i'm sure they are also worn. So any luck with just swapping in a reman valve body to save time etc.? Just to have a "new" unit in?

I also have problems with the „Cold“ situations.

But somehow there are no people around knowing about the 722.6.

I also have a thread about my problem, yet I get no responses about what I can do and what not.

tried so many things to fix my transmission problems.

Use the "SEARCH" feature here and dig down deep in the threads, there are some extensive conversations about the gearbox jerk scenario.

I found that the cost to repair it may exceed my car's value.

I live with it by manually shifting from first to second until the box gets warmed.
