Fried Front SAM on a E280 W211 Facelift

So a month ago I retrofitted my headlight to LED Projectors. The shop guaranteed me that with some modifications they made (i don't know what mods), it won't cause any issues and it didn't until it did. One morning after a long weekend where I just stayed home and didn't really use the car, I started it as normal, shifted it into gear and switched the lights to Auto as it was dark out and my car jerked. All the warning lights came on, ESP, ABS, etc. errors appeared on the instrument cluster screen as well the dreaded red battery symbol. Was I wrong to upgrade my headlights? Can the car's electronics even handle the wattage?

Well to cut short, along with the warning lights came the horrible smell of burnt plastic through the vents. I had to jump out the door as the smell was choking me. I let the car be for a bit and popped the engine hood, Checked the SAM unit as the smell was strongest where it is and saw it had burnt through it's plastic cover. Over the weekend I've replaced the SAM although with different part numbers. It worked well enough to just get the engine up and running but I'm left without most of the electronics. I can't even disengage the parking brakes using the lever. I need to manually disengage them from under the steering wheel. I guess using parts from the pre-facelift models isn't the answer. This model of mine was a particularly rare model in my country of Malaysia and is very hard to source parts for it. I've asked tens of parts supply shops and so far none of them carry the exact part ( A 2115459101) that was damaged, new or used. I've reached out to some overseas parts supply shops and hopefully they can help me out. Is buying new a good idea and what else should I do to make my car usable again? Any help and advice is greatly appreciated.

can see if this will work for your car. If so I got one. Pulled from a parts car (rear end rusted out wouldn’t pass inspection)
$80 plus shipping

you can swap parts from other models but it needs programming
