airmatic air hoses/lines replacement/diagram (2006 rear self leveling wagon)
Subscribedoes anyone have a diagram showing how the hoses run for the air suspension for a 2006 e350 with just the rear struts. I replaced my airbags with arnott bags and it rides fine and it has for a few months now, but my air pump sounds awful and it's always working loudly when I turn the car on or when people start getting in. when I have a full car sometimes the car drops down several inches from the weight and you can hear the pump groaning to lift the car back up to ride hight, which only takes 30ish seconds. one time I loaded the car with some stuff from Lowes and it lowered so low that the warning car too low kicked in and I had to wait for it to pump back up. I'm probably going to replace the pump because I can tell its seen better days but I figured I might as well run new lines if I can too, since at that point everything but the lines would have been replaced.
edit: I should add that the car doesn't naturally drop over time when sitting, or at least I haven't noticed it, It usually doesn't sit for more then 24 hrs without being drove.

I had that recently - I replced my shocks (all in under $250 and under an hour labor)...WHAT an amazing change. I have a new pump and solenoid and Arnott's that are about a year old. I did have some issues with airleaks with the new solenoid (I used RMT). But, the leak turned out to be at the airbag.
So, my suggestion to you - shocks.
This all was such an upgrade I tore the engine half apart.

Thank you, I know that I need new shocks I'll just have to read up on the best way to rip the whole trunk apart to get to the tops of the rear shocks lol. I might just say screw it all and swap to coilovers too though I am just so tired of hearing that pump crank. but maybe shocks and a new pump motor will do the trick.
