Hi, i have searched alot on this forum to find out if I can bypass my AC like others have been able to do. Firstly I purchased the 6pk2310, problem is that the tensioner hits the serpentine belt when I route it like the original, only skipping the AC. (See illustration, when route directly from 3 to 6 it hits 4)

Then I found a reply that the 6pk1755 should work with my car to bypass AC. I have purchased it, but there is no way I can include idler pulley or mechanical loader with this belt.

Are there anyone in here with the m271.941 1.8kompressor that have indeed bypassed their ac?
Looking to eliminate noise from the serpentine belt, it might be power steering pump as well. Have tried to change power steering fluid, to no avail.

Could I maybe just measure out and put a belt on only connecting 4, 6, 7 and 8 from illustration? What function does the mechanical loader do?

Unfortunately I did not. Tried measuring it out, and then the tensioner hit the belt. Eventually replaced both power steering unit and Ac unit. Then I sold the car, had nothing but trouble with it.
