Fuel Gauge Issue

2005 Mercedes E500 4matic
Fuel Gauge Issue
So recently, I got my 2005E5 104 Matic back into commission however I’ve been having a problem since I got this car basically the fuel gauge wouldn’t show unless it was fully filled but even then when it starts showing it will start going down super fast or just disappear completely I would get the fuel tank light when it’s low and even get notifications that it is low, but it will disappear slowly after that I’ve been seeing that it’s probably the fuel gauge center or something like that. Could anyone give me some pointers?
