I have a 2004 E500 and have been dealing with the dreaded sagging car airmatic problem. Ive already swapped out the left front suspension so have been there and done this already. That was last year, now its the right side, BOTH the front right and right rear are on the ground.
Because both front and rear are dropping I assumed that the culprit was either the valve block or compressor so I went ahead and swapped those out with brand new units. The car now raises at least (it wasn't before so I think that the compressor actually blew
under the pressure of having to work so hard before) so I don't regret replacing that compressor. Unfortunately though, whilst the car now raises as it should (the whole car), the right side drops after about 1/2hr to 1hr. Left remains fine.
I ended up uploading results I got from my scanner to an ai and it says that the results suggest that the right front strut is leaking. Thats fine and all but my question is so why does the right back also go down?

I recommend checking for kinked line, bends, loose fittings(at the struts)(brass couplings) on the problem child side. Yes, its a PITA, but since your saving $$ on DIY its worth it.
