E500 thoughts and wheel help.
I am so stoked to have my 05 E500 and was thinking of selling my 01 Audi S4 and I can't pull the trigger. 
I have an offer on the table for the car but just can't let it go. Anyone else have a hard time letting go of your previous car. I thought long and hard about it and I don't think I can sell it. I have to call the interested party this afternoon and tell him no go.
The real part of the post in this thread is I am wondering if anyone has a pic of a pewter E with LM6 wheels on it? I was leaning towards the brabus monoblocks but they don't look so good on the pewter IMO. Any and all help is appreciated. I have had the car for 2 weeks now and i am ready to make it look like my own.

Everyone on this forum loves there cars and I think it would be reasonable to say that everyone misses their old rides. I am 28 and had a '00 3 series, '02 5 series and my first car, 1998 red honda accord v6 coupe. I have to say that I miss every single one but my E benz kicks all of their butts and I don't regret dropping any of them for a second...

i had a 95 c36 amg prior to picking up my 04 e500 4matic.......talk about not wanting to let go!!!!! c36 had 163000 miles and was my trusted steed. miss it terribly to this day. but you know what the cure is.........getting into a w211 everyday!!!!!!!!! no comparison.......the e500 is faster, roomier, more luxurious, more modern, under warrantee, and just the natural progression of newer, better, and it will w/o doubt, be hard to part with when time comes.....and such is the good life.

while on the subject of natural progression up the car chain......was wondering what path many of us climbed to get to w211 status?
my cars owned solely by me, and used for everyday transportation goes something like this
1) 1965 chevy impala......bought in 73 with 125k on clock, great rookie car
2)1969 mercury cougar bought in 74 with 65k on odometer, bad front end
3) 1978 toyota celica 1st new car, bulletproof
4) 1983 bmw 320i new, ah german engineering
5) 1986 bmw 535i new, clark kent car ( superman in disguise )
6) 1993 infiniti q45 new, dabbled in japenese again,but too big
7) 1995 mb c36 amg new, put 163k on it, nuff said
8) 2004 mb e500 4matic current, lovin every mile ( @ 2.20 gal @17mpg)
curious what all of you drove prior to current w211

Thanks for the responses guys. I have decided to keep the Audi as my runner and the E for pleasure. Also my fiancee loves the Audi too much. I think she ennjoys driving it sometimes more than me. And I just can't seem to let it go. My buddy and I were talking and he said the car is paid for and you enjoy driving it so keep it and enjoy it as well as the benz.

Barry.......fun list, when was last time you saw a skyhawk on road? as a passenger, i walked away from 2 total wrecks and swore they were best built cars.......i havent seen one on road in 15 yrs!!!!! lol
