e320 leases?
since the e350 is coming out,has anyone seen any great leases on e320 yet? i saw an ad in the paper for 800 down and 459 a month,do u think when the e350 comes out, there will be any 0 down leases or anything like that? im thinking of getting one for my mom,so i dont know!
1. Money factor (essentially the same as interest rate)
2. Base Capitalized Cost (essentially the same as negotiated purchase price)
3. Residual value (this is set by the lease company, but sometimes fiddled with by the dealer) check carefully.
Do not negotiate on monthly payment. The payment will fall into place, by properly negotiating the above factors. A good deal on an E320 right now would look like this:
Money factor .0085 (Fica score over 750)
Purchase price: 4500 BELOW invoice (MB is providing the dealer with marketing incentives 2000 + 1500 at the moment.
Residual value 60% on a 12k year 39 month lease.
There are a couple of other details to pay attention to, like hidden fees (there really shouldnt be any other fees to add to the Capitalized cost, other than a lease aquisition fee, which i believe is being subsidized to $795 during Mercedes current promotional lease deal). You may be able to do slightly better than 4500 under invoice, but that is a good starting point.
The following lease calculator helps.

Make sure you have your information all sorted out before walking into the dealer. Hope this helps.
Curious regarding the $4500 below invoice. CDI cars are going for between MSRP and MSRP - $1000 right now.
With a lease, is it likely "back door" incentives are being paid to the dealer for initiating a lease, thus lowering dealer cost and possibly your overall price?
