I don't know the offset but if you do put on the 20's, be prepared for a much rougher ride on normal streets and highways, poor tire mileage and high probablity of wheel damage from pot holes or even speed bumps. My neighbor put them on his E-55 and damaged three of them in less than a month. He quickly returned to the stock wheels and tires. With the newer MB cars such as the 2006 CLS four door sports sedans which we saw last week at a special Dealer Show at MB of Laguna Niguel, they had specific warnings about these potential problems with the specialty wheels and tires offered on these vehicles. I had not seen that done before; however, many owners, such as my neighbor, have been disappointed with their "nice looking" but rougher riding and more easily damaged "big wheels". At least, the MB dealer can now say you were cautioned about the problems.

will really depend on tire selection. I have ET28 rear, and the actual wheel sticks out farther that the outermost part of the fender. It barely tucks in under compression, but my tires angle in slightly. Didn't really want it that way but its kinda cool.
I made the front ones with less offset, missing spacers to make the difference in lip bigger.
