Beginning to Hope
To those members who haunt this forum, as I do, you may recall I ordered an E-500 with a delivery in late December, 2004. When the "car" arrived it was in a different color than I ordered. Dealer claimed that a mystery person changed the order. After calming down, I reordered as the dealership obtained a January build date.
I am now informed that the car arrived at the Southern California VPC on 2/22. Does anyone have an average time that is required prior to release of the car to the trucking firm?
The car would need to travel about 200 miles from the VPC.
Allowing the excitment to build.

Just in case they do, prepare yourself by watching the Michael Douglas film, Falling Down before you leave for the dealership!

The Next Step
Well folks, I am happy to report that I apparently will not need firepower in order to get my car. The salesperson advised today that the car is in and made no mention of any "changes". Now all I have to do is to give them $65M and the dream begins. This should occur within the next three days. Assuming no last minute surprises, I will be posting photos shortly.
All of you keep your fingers crossed.
