First post...keyless go quandry?
Good morning all. Out of lurking after several months with a question that may have been discussed here before, but I was unable to find an answer in my search.
Today, my wife used her keyless go for the first time in our 2004. (I have used mine exclusively since we acquired the car.) Mine has worked flawlessly. The car did not recognize her key at all: locking doors, ignition or releasing the trunk. The tiny red LED lights when one of the buttons is depressed, so I consider the battery ok. Is there an easy fix?
btw...enjoy the discussions
Sorry about incorrectly posting to the AMG group!

Is it not recognized when it is held in her hand as upposed to being buried in her bag? If so maybe it is too buried or the batteries are too weak to be that buried ...also I am pretty sure the car gets confused when both my and my wifes keys are in our posession & we are BOTH in the car at the same time.
