today i've been in the new E-klasse. on first glance on the outside everything looks really put togheter. it was a 350, avantgarde, sitting on big 18" wheels , 235 on front 265 on back.
altouhg the rear lights look like coming off a hyundai sonata the car looks great.

on the interior much from c-klasse. the steering wheel was made of a really nice leather, smooth and really nice to touch.

new on board menu for all those assitance, lane assit, distance keep , distance assist, brake assist ...

bigger paddles on the steering wheel than those on the C-klasse. really nice seats ventilated , heated , with massage function . they are controlled from a unit next to the seat, just like in the old E's not from the command like in the S-klasse.

the test drive will be on the 2-5th of april until then maybe i can sneak some pictures out.

 

and today it was official release day.
got my hands on 250CDI , 350CDI and 500 . the 350 and 300 did not tempt me .

i have to say that you got to love an E with multicontour seats with massage and dynamic features in them . they are coming from the S/CL-Klasse to the E.

i'm really thinking now of getting the E coupe when i'll decide to get rid of the current ride.

 

Nice to hear that the car is well built. There was always something about the W211 that didn't sit well with me, but it was a great car.

Now if they would just hurry up with the release and get my E63 produced and shipped.
