which engines for North America?
granted this is the sedan section .. my question is in regards to the coupe, but may cross over to the sedan. i recently read the edmunds first drive of the e350 cgi coupe http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=146526 .. and edmunds was stating that the v6 was 292hp. now i'm on the mbusa.com website and their site only states the v6 is going to be 268hp. anyone know which North America will be getting? and is it going to cross over to the sedan as well?

Engine info
Engines for USA E coupes/sedan are same as those for 209 and 211. V6 268hp/258 tq, V8 382hp/391 tq. Direct injection engines for ECE markets (CGI) are not capable of handling the sulphur content of US gasoline blends. Therefore, the engines will be the same as the previous models until the next gen engines are launched.

Same old engines !
According to sources @ MB Canada, you are correct, the current engines are carried over for the coupe and sedan. This is a major disappointment, IMO.
This lovely looking new coupe will be easily outgunned by BMW and Audi.
