Question Batman Headlights

Whenever I'm driving at night on a slight incline I notice the end of the headlight beams has two definite points that extend beyond the rest of the area. They appear to be just right of center (as looking from inside the car obviously). The best description I can think of is that it looks like Batman ears or maybe two sharp mountain peaks.

I don't have the adaptive headlights so I know it's not that. I'm wondering if the headlights are possibly misaligned. I called the service dept at the dealership and the guy said it might be part of the design - to provide as much illumination as possible out in front. He was new though, so he wasn't really sure. I'm going to get it checked it out on Thursday, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks.

All projectors make those pointed ears. Dont get it adjusted by the dealer.
Look at the attached link. The beam will be similar or even more pronounced.

Thanks for the reply and the picture. I guess the only thing I'd say is that it seems MUCH more pronounced. But that's at a more distant point - I wonder if it would be less pronounced if I was very close to a wall like in your picture. Maybe I'll do some recon work tonight.

And if it's completely normal, then I feel a bit foolish. Think I'm just paranoid about something being wrong after spending all that money on the car. haha

First pic is the closest and 3rd is the farthest away from the wall. As you can see (it's clearer in the bigger version of the picture), the height of the ears gets bigger as a I get farther away. That was what I was seeing on the roads, so it had me concerned.

The first picture does look a lot like yours, though, so I guess I'm okay.

Thanks again.

The way your headlights are, is perfectly fine, that how it looks with projectors headlight without HID. I wouldnt worry about it.
