E350 vs E550
I personally find the E350 severely underpowered for my needs. I would chose it only if I could not afford the 550. As mentioned earlier there is really no benefit in terms of MPG. Also, airmatic is great especially on the crappy roads here in the north east.

I guess I'm also confused on the new motors. MB announced that it was putting the 5.5 liter TT into the AMG to replace the 6.3. That to me makes sense, but putting a TT in the standard 550 doesn't. It's about making MB's motors more fuel efficient. Putting a TT on the 5.5 liter will use more gas and make significantly more power than the current N/A motor. This wouldn't make sense to achieve their goal. Now if they went with an entirely new motor, say like a small v-8 4.5 liter motor with TT, that could be more fuel efficent and put out as much and maybe a tad more than the current N/A 5.5 liter. Anyway I'll be surely surprised if they put a TT in the E550 and the new E55 AMG TT.

i just also saw, CL will now be S couple again.
+ Airmatic is much more comfortable if you have less than desireable roads
Surprisingly though, the V6 is quite a good performer.. I did a 0-60 in 7.2 seconds.. Ive heard that the company boats of a faster timing..
The handling of the E350 was also very good.. With the ESP on, there was absolutely no understeer.. With the ESP off, the steering got lighter at the turns, telling you of the following understeer.. It was not tough to steer it though..
With all of this, I would think that it is sort of useless to spend an extra 10 grand for the V8..
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
