(But I guess the obvious answer is an AMG...)
The one I ordered won't make sense to anyone but me and the one other person in the world who I came up with it with back in Jr. High. But it's what I've wanted since then so it fills the little pre-teen in me with joy.

18x8 ET 35 All around with 245/40 Michelin Pilot Alpin
Question - You have 18x8 wheels with 35 offset. I just picked up some wheels with that same setup but I'm being told by some respectable individuals in this forum that 245/40 is too big for the wheel and I'll experience possible sidewall roll. The claim is that I should stick to 235/40.
I am seeing your setup now and that's EXACTLY what I want to do. Do you have any issues with your tires/wheel set up? I have a 2010 e550 4matic. I don't think that matters but thought I'd bring it up regardless
I’m not positive on what the clearance differences are between my conventional shock/strut/spring set up versus your pneumatic units. That’s likely the issue with fitment.
On another note, I lost a front 245/40R18 while I was 400 miles away from home last Thursday and was forced into buying a full set of 245/45 18 All Seasons so I could get home as no shop within a 3 day ship time could get me a replacement 245/40 winter tire or all season and I wasn’t keen on driving 400 miles on a donut during the polar vortex.
The tires themselves suck, but the size fits on the 212 ET35 wheels with no rubbing or issues. Just looks a little tractorish.
Cant wait for spring so I put the 19” AMGs back on.

The clearance is not an issue at all. OEM for my 4matic e550 is 245/40 but on 18x8.5. what I am hearing is that the 245 on an 8" width wheel is too big for it. That it'll look too big/whack and can cause sidewall roll, which will wear on my tires more. If those possibilities are more likely, then I wanna steer away from that, but I wasn't sure. If you've run 245/40 on your 8" and haven't had any of those possibilities, then I think I'll be fine with those.
Thanks again!
