thanks man! i appreciate that - there's definitely some work that goes into it. when your weather turns nice again, here's my process that keeps it looking good. takes about 2 hours, once every other month or as needed.
1.) get silver paint jk, it helps a little though
2.) vacuum carpets at gas station or at home
2.) a good rinse through a "touch less" or your own hose at home with soap
3.) use dry-look interior spray cleaner/conditioner with micro-fiber towel over all interior surfaces except navi screen, cockpit gauge screens, interior window glass, roof liner, and carpets - make sure to wipe dry
4.) use the interior micro-fiber towel to softly dust other areas in need
5.) use windex on all exterior windows, and interior sides if needed with separate micro-fiber towel
6.) use windex and micro-fiber towel on exterior plastic "chrome" trim, headlights, taillights, emblems, ornaments, grille work, etc.
7.) use same slightly damp micro-fiber towel on wheels to wipe clean
8.) apply tire shine if desired (i currently don't)
9.) use spray wax/detailer with separate micro-fiber towel staring on roof, then to hood, trunk, trunk jam, rear bumper, side panels/skirts, doors, door jams, and front bumper
10.) use separate micro-fiber towel to wipe dry as needed
11.) take some HQ pics and post them here!
12.) enjoy that shine
i've got the 2014 facelift which comes with them... some tuners have done it though.

Brand new W212 Coupe
Finally arrived last Tuesday.
Very happy with the choice of color and interior trim.
It took me a little while to get used from my C class Sedan to the E 400 Coupe. And because speed limit enforcement is not too tough in mexican freeways, I am REALLY enjoying the twin turbo V6.
Now it's just a matter of getting the Drive Kit Plus for the iPhone 5 part number...
Best regards and safe driving.

This is mine after a quick wash. 2013 E-class with some extras. Have to admit I do like chrome on black cars. Going waxing next week. Have had the car for about 6 months now and do like the car in general. Best car I have owned. Rims are 20" with Offset 35 in front and Offset 40 on Back Tires are 245/30 in front and 295/25 on back Sorry for the big pics.

That's a really sweet coupe, looks like you got it loaded too. What options did you order with it?

Not many ppl mod A bluetec on here.
I also think it's the first W212 I have seen on the new Vossen CVT wheels that just came out.
Went a square setup on wheels since I drive 36k mi a year. (CPO unlimited miles warranty!)
Done so far..
Removed chrome side strip. (Looks way cleaner)
Added trunk and roof spoiler
Changed distronic grill to black star distronic grill (the Distronic grill looks funny with the black square reflector in it)
Changed hood emblem to flat mb emblem
Tint windows.
19" Vossen cvt 19 x 8.5 on Michelin a/s 3 tires square setup 245/35/19
Clear side markers
Klasse All in one protectant
Klasse glossy Glaze
This is what it looked like in the Before pic... when it got shipped to me! I was excited to come home and see my "new" car till my wife sent me this pic.

When I lived in FL I would have thought the same. Now in the northeast. Cars just look like that in the winter. It came from Chicago to dc on truck. It's amazing the thickness of the salt that can get caked on the paint from the roads. This winter was real bad! Cost me 400 for shipping vs 700 from dealer and 1000 for enclosed. I didn't mind for the 600 savings, but yes I was surprised.
