cheers mate! still undecided on the rims. HRE's are too expensive here, and this is the daily for the mrs so...curbs down here are unforgiving. 
car cover used to be for my 211, still didnt fit like a glove either but serves its purpose for a fraction of the oem price.

Thank you! Yes sir it is, Steel Gray Metallic. I'm not sure where you live, but you're best bet is to look either in the Northeast, California, or Florida. I got lucky and just happened to be in the NE for work, and found her on Long Island. I went from a 13 Passat TDI to this CPO 2011 and haven't looked back. I can put 2 out of 3 of my little girls in the rear-facing 3rd row as well! By far the best car I have ever owned!

In doing research Cali dealers have a lot of them, a few up to ten in stock. I'm looking for a pretty basic car (Sport, P1, Leather, sport wheel, 18" AMG wheels and ventilated seats). Using Truecar which only applies to dealer stock these Cali dealers are offering up to $5800 off which is nice.
Thanks for the heads up about Northeast and FL. My wife bought her last two MB in Boston when we lived there but 2K miles is a bit far

The E wagon has an enormous trunk,you can literally put in it almost everything; your two Grey Hounds will feel pretty confy.

not ugly but it just doesnt go with the car imo. smoked tail lights would have been better but oem is really classy for me. but hey, if you like it, thats what matters!

I got them with the complete kit off ebay, the whole kit came with side skirts, F&R bumpers and tips. You can purchase JUST the tips from ebay with or without AMG on them for around $100 up to $350, I buddy who owns a body shop just cut the old ones and welded the new ones on, and they fit perfectly and look good.

Never understood the need to mess with tail lights, side markers, etc. Tint them? Maybe, but replace with clear versions? Just sounds silly to me.
