Rear too aggressive?

I need opinions/advise/feedback on my new set 19" replicas. I went with ET35 all around on a RWD 2010 E550 with 245/35 in front and 275/30 in the rear. I knew that the fronts would be fine, but know that the most "flush" setup on the rears is somewhere between 38 to 40. So I'm sticking out some

I know others have rocked the 35mm offset in the rear, like Yosheego and mbglenn. Mine look like they stick out a hair further though.

Do they look tacky? Will I have rubbing issues (I don't plan to lower)? Should I try to reorder the 45mm offset set? Can I add little negative camber to tuck in a tiny bit?

HEEELP!

^ if you dont plan on lowering her, you shouldnt have any problems with rubbing. but it sure doesnt look right especially the last photo. others may have done the 35 offset but probably with stretched tyres and a neg camber so the wheels are tucked/flushed with the fender.

Just got an alignment yesterday. Sitting at -1.6 rear driver side and -1.9 degrees rear passenger side on camber. How much more can/should I go?

Should I try to ditch these wheels (either try to return or just sell on my own) and go with the ET45 all around? OR just keep 'em and live with the slight poke?

Any opinions on the black inlay on the wheels? It was hard to decide between that and the gunmetal version.

I would live it alone since you're on 275s and not 285s.

Given up on a S205 and ordered a S212
My UK spec S212 250 SE (advangarde in the rest of the world I believe) wagon. Silk beige and burr wood combination coupled to the 211bhp petrol engine. Slightly unusal spec wise in this part of the world, but that's what I wanted!

personally, i would return it and get the correct offset (if I still can at no cost), too much poke for me from what I can see from your pics. but its just me, if you can live with it, its all good. the black looks good but i reckon gunmetal would be different.

beejaypunsalan or three MBs,

They may let me return the rear wheels and exchange for ET45 (only pay return shipping). Would this look right? I think it'll look good. Will it look strange with the fronts at ET35 (almost flush) and rears tucked 5 mm in from "flush"?

I think this setup would allow me to get some lowering links and drop 1" or so, right? Or am I iffy upfront on 245/35s?

Appreciate the advice!

Thought you said you werent planning on lowering. Reason i asked is that with your current set up, you might be able to get away with the front offset without rubbing. Somebody please correct me if i am wrong, but you may have rubbing issues at the front if you lower her.

Now for the rear. If you dont mind shouldering the return shipping cost. Id do it. Flush or tucked in is how i want it. But of course, its your car, your taste. Its your call mate.

If you don't mind, please share the exact link where you purchased these wheels. I've been eyeing replica wheels with ET35 offset all around, so I may reconsider after seeing that you are having issues. Are your wheels rubbing at all? Maybe a different tire size may help with the sticking out issue with your rear wheels?

Got them from USARIM, and I must say they have been great to work with and my car feels smoother (could be new tires and much needed alignment ) than ever. Here's the link for the specific ones I got:

http://www.usarim.com/wheels/mercede...eels-rims.html

I'm not rubbing at all at stock height. Got 275/30-19 on rear and 245/35-19 (Conti DWS). Feedback from friends is they look awesome and the poke in the rear looks sporty. IMO, I think it sticks out a hair too much, but I am OCD and let it bother me every time I look at the car. USARIM was kind enough to ship me a new set or rears with ET45 (only have to pay return shipping, about $50). I'll get them next week. I plan to have one installed and put down on the ground and compare. I'll post photos of both sides. The Contis do seem bulgy and ET35 in rear may look alright with 265s but I didn't want any stretch.

In regards to the the fronts with 245s, I found this and since it's coming from threeMBs... I gotta believe I'll be fine, even if I lower (I'm on the fence about it)

"255/35-19 fits front of all W212 (lowered or not) with 8.5 or 9 inch wide wheels and offsets between 33mm and 43mm 100% guaranteed."

Ching,
With 245/30-20 and 9.0 ET35 in the rear, I believe you are sitting at about 9mm out from stock in rear. My current setup (staggered) with ET35 and 275/30-19 on the rears sits out about 24mm from stock -- and about 5mm more than my liking . I'm torn b/c if I go to the ET45 rears, I'll be 14mm out from stock... and I'd like to be somewhere between 17-19mm.

After seeing your setup, which I must add is stunning! I think I'll like the look of 10 mm more inset than my current, which is 5mm more than what you got.

What are your thoughts Pristine?

I don't think I've ever seen this color on any Benz before. Nice unique pick up WTG.
