E350 CDI Estate arrived - Crappy weather, crappy cam...
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Looks nice and cool with all the snow around it.
I'm not a Wagon guy by any means, but I gotta say this is the first time EVER that I have found a Wagon to look a lot better than the Sedan version, the lines and whole look/theme of the 212 IMO works better in Wagon form.
Has a very utilitarian vibe, mixed with the aggressive looks.
I agree with everyone above! I usually dislike wagons, but with your new E-Wagon pics, if it ever came to the U.S. I'd actually seriously consider it. The car looks AMAZING... BEST looking 2010 E I've seen (better than the coupe, and MUCH better than the sedan)! In fact, I think I like it almost as much as my W211 w/ AMG Sport Package...
That's very rare, people stating a WAGON is the nicest version of a family of models that come in both Sedan AND Coupe form.
I think the solid execution of turning the 212 into a Wagon, will hurt the hideous new 5'er GT a bit, although they say it's "not a Wagon"
. Talk about fails. BMW certainly didn't learn from M-B's fumble with the R-Class. Making a smaller and purportedly "cool-ified" equally awkward looking car will be a good way for BMW to throw their $$$$ down the drain.

Yes, it is extremely rare. Before I wasn't even going to consider the W212 when I upgrade in a few years (assuming the face-lift version preserves most of the current looks), but if MB brought the wagon over, then I'd definitely consider it! Not only does it look the best out of the three (by far), but the larger cargo space would really help me out (instead of hauling stuff in my back seat)! Here's hoping!
) but I don't know if I could ever pucker up and go for a Wagon, however, if I did, I would be interested in an S212, the fact that every other Wagon looks like a Sedans ******* sibling with a weird growth in their rump area would make that decision even easier, haha.

Actually I've noticed that the S212 w. AMG-Styling draws many peoples attention, starting to ask questions at the petrol station and so on..What does your dream spec looks like?
I really like the color of your wagon but I had a white car before and it was a chore to keep it clean. During my adventures on the German MB site I was looking at Steel Grey and Palladium Silver cars. Even the basic black was just jaw dropping; a little bit like a hearst but still beautiful.
They are available under "accessories" for $1700.
How does this work - are they installed by the factory, or at the dealer?
If at the dealer, do you get the other wheels as well? Do they do some credit for the originals?
Would these wheels work with the Sport package?

I actually like the gulshorn wheels alot! Fits the car very well!
I only need one set of wheels with Performance All Season tires like the Michelin Pilot A/S, which is what my dealer has on their C300 4Matic loaner fleet.
Perhaps the dealer would do some trade - I don't want to ask until I'm ready to negotiate.
Did you have to buy additional tire pressure monitoring sensors?
How do you handle tire pressure monitoring recalibration when you switch wheels?
