2010 E350 W212
Hood ornament

Anyone know where I can get the flat MB ornament for the E350? I was told they don't have one that would fit the 212 models

Good question. I asked this about 2-3 months ago and there has yet to be a definite answer.

Let's all stay tuned.

You could try one from a C-Class Sport sedan, I believe it should fit.

I transferred my flat hood badge from my sold '07 E550 to my '10 E550. It seemed to fit just fine. (My flat badge installed exactly the same way as the hood star. No after market screws, etc.)

i think the trick is to find the proper diameter for your model. what diameter
is the divot in the 212?

Doesn't DFWGuy (think that's his name) sell the flat ornaments here on MBWorld?

Do you want to pay over US $100.00 for that flat hood part (NOT EVEN from MB, but with the serial number), who hold the copyright of this part ? .

Well, I don't, but others might. I like my upright ornament. I have no idea about pricing or anything like that. I wasn't endorsing the product; just remembered that someone was selling them on here a while back.

I don't understand why anyone would want to change their upright ornament for a flat one. This has been the look of Mercedes sedans for decades. Why lose that classic Mercedes look?
