Water by rear door after rain
I'm going to win the dumbest question award!
I have a '10 E550. EVERY time I drive in the rain (or snow) the car dumps a big puddle of water (or slush) on the floor of my garage exactly at the entrance of the driver's side rear passenger door. Maybe the passenger's side too, but I don't know because quarters are too tight on that side to get in the car.
The problem is that I have a 3-year old who naturally insists on getting in the car by herself. Which means she has to walk through the puddle to get in the car. Even when I convince to let me lift her into the car, stretching over the puddle with a 35-lb weight is not easy on the back.
Anybody else notice these puddles? Any clever solutions? I've never had this problem with any other car.
