It is exactly like the W211. You need to actually remove the plastic engine cover. The air filters are inside of it.

1. Remove the air intake hoses from the plastic engine cover.
2. At the back of the plastic cover, close to the passenger compartment is a metal latch. Flip it off the plastic engine cover.
3. From the front of the engine, pull up on the plastic engine cover until is pops free.


You might want to search the forums for more detailed instuctions, if mine don't make any sense.
