Can you go staggered on a 4-matic?
Hey!
I have heard different information ..
Can you go staggered setup on a 4-matic?
I would prefer a staggered 20" setup but I am worried that it might create future problems?
Any ideas or thoughts about it ??
Thinking 245-255/35 20" front and 285-295/20-25 20" rear .. "rolling-size" will be correct, only change is the width...

It actually does not matter.
There is no reason, why you can't install staggered wheels on E 4Matic.
Look at C 4matic - it has staggered wheels.
I wanted to do it and asked my dealer - he said no problem.
I would not do 20" wheels if you drive in areas like New York ....

I can imagine how many wheels I'd change with 20" setup.
You can do it - just have knowledge about downside.

True... I did 20" Work Varianza T1S on my old Audi A5 ..
worked pretty good .. but I might go 19" this time..
I got really into the BBS CH-R 19"x8.5 either black or silver...
What you all think .. black or silver on a diamond white W212 ??

The most important key is to absolutely make sure the rolling circumferences on both ends are the same or exactly spot on with factory.
