Can I disable some radio bands?

I like to listen to an AM talk radio station but not their commercials. So I like switching to say satellite radio and then back. Pressing RADIO button repeatedly cycles through AM, FM, Weather and Sat. Is it possible to delete Weather from this list because it actually stop there for a second when switching.

Do not believe that you can do this. You can also change radio sources with the radio menu by hihlighting the one you want and pressing OK. However this is more unwieldy than just pressing the radio button. It really is no big deal to skip thru the sources and you do not have to pause. You can also press mute when a commercial comes on.

Why not just use VC? Say "Satellite radio" and it will switch directly; or say "FM" and then you instantly have the FM band

That's what I do.

Worth trying but I think it may take longer than pressing the RADIO button twice. No big deal, really.

fwiw, it takes 2 seconds. Pull the lever and say FM or satellite, etc.. It switches instantly and you never have to take your eye off the road. Trust me, I do it all the time; very simple.
