BTW, for Arctic White, I saw lots of information OnLine saying it's Paint Code 147, but then some conflicting info says 650, on my door jam, it says 650, so I went with that.
Right on K-A our cars could almost be stunt doubles now. Your recomendation for the interior was "spot on". Glad I did it.

I got the color from my rep, rest assured 650 is Artic White. Congrats.

A pleasure again buddy, glad you dig it. Yeah, that interior made a night and day difference for me on the car, like from hate to love, literally.

Haha, indeed, our cars are getting closer to being interchangeable.

Looks great man! I am for sure going to be ordering mine soon too.. I gotta go home and get my paint code. Damn 215 is a great price. Did they supply the silcon for you to bulster the adhesive or did you have to purchase that yourself?? Looks great! I have a white E class too but I am not sure if its arctic white tho... When I have it side by side with my Audi it looks off white....

Thanks again for taking the plunge.... These guys should give you a kick back... ;-)

Hey ya gotta pay it forward. A lot of guys on this forum have helped me out. Just thought I would share my experience. If you have a 2010 or 11. It's artic white (although diamond white will be available soon for a hefty upcharge).

Both my wife and kids love the addition of the spoiler. It really makes the Sport Version look even "sportier". Not sure it would look as good on a luxury. It would look good, just not as good IMO.

If they don't provide the adhesive I'll probably take it to a Body Shop to have them stick it on. I don't wanna mess it up with getting it not perfectly centered or anything.

x-tian, yours is definitely Arctic White, as it's the only White avail on the 2010 W212. Paint Code = 650.

Yeah, I noticed how off White it is when I see it next to my Girls Nissan. I originally always liked my Whites to be pure White, but I now realize the "richness" in a properly warm and creamy White. Also, it seems the whitest whites come from brands like Chevy/Nissan/Honda, etc.

It comes with adhesive applied throughout the backing. Directions recommended adding additional silicone for a better bond. It did not come with it. However, you can pick it up at any hardware store for a couple bucks. I simply put a small bead down the middle (in between the adhesive strips). Seriously, it's real easy to do yourself.

Ahh, okay, so silicone just for the additional hold. In that case I'll probably do it myself.

Thanks for the response... My E class also has the AMG package so its the sportier one...its definately lacking a lid lip so I am excited that the fit and finish on this product looks great...

Can you share what type of silicon adhesive you specifically used? That would be great...Thanks!

Took less than a week for delivery and they gave me a UPS Tracking number after a day or two.

I used Permatex Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive (I just had it sitting around the garage). You can do the job solo, buts it better to have a second set of hands and eyes. Real simple install. Post Pictures!!!

I had ordered mine after Philly's post. It didn't take long to receive especially since it was sent out of Dallas and I'm in Houston. I had to pay tax though. Fit is good. It seems like it's a LIIIITTLE bit shorter than the OEM one, but really negligible. I only say this b/c I happened across another W212 with what looked like an OEM one and it was just barely longer than mine. I mean a fraction of an inch, 1/2 an inch at most.

Happy with my purchase. If I can find the time I'll take some pictures. I have a busy week, so we'll see.

Well, I ordered mine on Sat night or something, and I think the following Monday they started to make/paint the piece. It was ready to ship by Wednesday. Thursday it was on my doorstep. I would assume you are in awaiting fulfillment on your order. It will "sit" there as that's the longest part of the process.

Cool. A 1/2 an inch is probably slightly noticeable if you look closely, but I'm sure that doesn't mean it looks necessarily worse or anything.

Mine has probably arrived already, but I've been out of town.

Snakdoctor, did you use an extra adhesive to apply yours like PhillyBenz did?

Well like I said, I noticed it, so technically it's noticeable right? haha Though I wouldn't have known if I didn't see an OEM one, or at least what I thought was an OEM one on the car.

I didn't use any additional adhesive. The 3M tape held it pretty darn good. I tried to pry it off with my hands after as a test and couldn't get it to come off. I guess the question is does driving at say 100mph cause more force across the whole spoiler than me trying to pry it off at one end.

I felt confident in it at least.

Ah, cool. Was it easy to line up, etc.? I.e, could 1 person do it?

About the difference in length, that's what I meant, that it in fact is noticeable, if only ever so slightly, lol. Oh well. I'm happy with the look of it without the lip enough that I still question whether it was necessary, so just having anything on that boot will appease me, haha.

Funny, I was looking at a friends W212 with an OEM Spoiler, and noticed that the lining up on each corner was veery slightly off, like it was a little closer to the edge of the trunk on the right side, and the gap a little wider on the left. I guess our hand applied units will probably be of a better fit.

I can only assume the OEM spoilers are still installed by humans, so there's room for error. If your friend's OEM spoiler was off, he should tell the dealership to fix that. I would.

I installed it myself. Just use some paint tape, or even the tape they actually used to tape up the packing material works. It seemed like paint tape too.

I just placed the spoiler where I wanted it, put pieces of the tape on the trunk so I could properly line it up once I took off strips off the 3M tape. I put one piece of tape to mark how far from each side of the trunk to place the spoiler, and then another piece above where the spoiler sits.

This showed me the top "corners" of where I would place the spoiler before pressing down to set it in place. Wish I had taken a picture to help, but maybe you know what I mean.

Just put tape for alignment everywhere you feel it'll help you make sure it's perfect. Only press down when you are good with your placement. Voila! Step back and be glad you got the spoiler, haha!

Anyone have a number for Gnarly Car Parts?

The geniuses decide not to include a Tracking Number or info on who's shipping the part, so someone like me who hasn't received it yet, has no idea on how to track it immediately, aside from waiting on them to reply back to my E-Mail. Lovely.

Sorry don't know it. I just received an email saying my status had changed, and I followed the link and it said shipped and had a tracking number. Just knowing what UPS numbers look like I knew it was UPS.

Ah, okay. Yeah mine doesn't have a Tracking number, just an Order number. Weird it's taken so long (over a week) for me.

I called the number on my CC Card Statement, but seems it went to a Private Voicemail. Oh well, patience is a virtue.

Yeah, I'm pretty annoyed by it, and not being able to get ahold of 'em is double frustrating. Based on the other guys here, seems they're reputable, just we got delayed on hopefully. Mine Shipped Wednesday night, so I'd figure it shoulda gotten here by now.

If for whatever reason I don't get a tracking number by them via E-Mail response in the next day or two, and no Package arrives, gonna file a claim. Hate dealing with incompetence! (not E-Mailing a Tracking number, for example, or providing a working Phone Number)

On a side note, seems BPhilly's done them a good deed, on their Website it shows that the W212 rear spoiler's their hottest selling product.... I wonder where that's all coming from.
