I spoke with my dealer last week regarding my E350 Sport 4Matic that should have been built at end of June. Since I ordered the car without any firm pricing available, I was quite interested to see what was happening for 2011. I am quite relieved to learn that the base price remains unchanged, but there is a bit of "decontenting" as the 2010 standard pano roof moves to the Premium package for 2011. The price of the Premium package increases by $1000, but it now also includes the Media Interface that was $375 last year, so the net increase for the pano roof is $625. The rearview camera also increases by $30. Also, even though the AMG Sport package now no longer includes the AMG steering wheel, the price remains at $800 (basically all we now get in the package is the 5-spoke AMG rims as all the rest of the AMG trim is standard in Canada).

So, for 2011, the net increase in cost for my car relative to 2010 is about $655. Not so bad as I am still counting on at least a 1% increase (vs late 2010) in residual to 58% on a 3 year lease, so the monthly payments should be exactly what they would have been had I taken a late 2010 model. The full 2011 Canadian price list is attached.

I'm not sure I am getting my math right but it appears that the version of the car I ordered is $470 cheaper???

E550 4M with MPP, MAP (Distronic Plus included now with old technology package), Rear view camera, wood/leather steering wheel, Climate comform front seats and Night view assist.

So I am getting more options (now getting the "Advanced" Driving Assistance Package) and I am paying less for it?

Metallic paint was always a no cost option on the E class.
