Ha, I remember that, especially when entering address in the NAV. I do feel that the new control needs a couple shortcut buttons like BMW, but only a couple! Not ten button surrounding the Control wheel like BMW.

Another difference that I will note that I have mentioned in other threads is the completely different feel of the steering from the W211 to the W212. For the W211 buyers who love their current steering you can only get the same feel if you buy a 4matic W212. Nowhere can you find this information on your own unless you test drive a 4matic or read MBWorld forums. It seems that it’s a cost saving measure that MB likes to keep a secret.
