current vehicles 05 nsx,10 mdx,93 Ztt all with less than $400 per 6months.
The new e is $812. Something must be incorrect or am I missing something here.
Or is it because of the word Benz??

This year, An '07 W221 S-Class was going to cost me about $3,500 on its own, an '06 CLS55 was gonna be about $2,600, and my '10 E350, which has a higher Blue Book than either of those, cost me about $1500 or less. I paid $1,500 for the Malibu, then the E cost about an extra $1,100, with Two-Car-Discount.
I'm getting there, but still way behind what you guys are paying. I'm un-Married and under 30 as well.
I pay $550/6month for 2010 E350 4matic. I just added 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera for another $540. I am 29 married and live in NYC.
Because we put less than 4500 miles per year per each car our rate was not as high as expected but we still live in NYC.
My advice, try shop for a insurance. Each insurance company has different rates to different areas. For example, the rate was similar in Long Island with Allstate and Geico but Allstate is much higher in NYC.

Ontario has no fault insurance. This means your insurance co. always pays for the damage to your car but the deductible is waived if you are not at fault. It illiminates most litigation and keeps the premiums in check.
This including: "not at fault policy", $400 deductible for collision and $100 deductible for collision, 100K/ 300K not insured/not insured, medical, property damaged, rental 30 days at $20 a day.

I am with USAA and when I went from a 2007 Hyundai Azera to a 2010 MB E350 sedan, insurance only went up $50 per year.
When I went from an '87 Mazda Rx-7 convertible to a new '96 Ford Taurus, insurance actually went down a lot.
To some extent the Benz safety features may even help. Also read somewhere that new cars are sometimes lower as they are less likely to be involved in accidents and repair costs may be cheaper.
Might want to check your under and uninsured motorist coverage if your state has low mandatory requirements. Insurance will pay only up to that limit if hit by under or uninsured motorist. You pay the difference.
Regardless, enjoy the ride.
