Fresh from the jitters:
2011 e550 4matic, black on black with black ash.
P2, door sills, night view, sport package (black roof liner, sport body, 18'amg 5 spokes and a spoiler), mud flaps, trunk handle....
now comes the waiting......

I'd like to get a black grille,(carbonfiber?) and remove the head piece and put a badge on instead. Also would like to mod the lettering in the back to black and a black symbol back there as well.
Saw someone here with the black lettering on their AMG, it looked really nice.

Congrats!!! You wont be sorry. From my understanding after talking to two dealers Mud Flaps are not available for the Sport version because of the side skirt. Let us know if you indeed get them. Thanks.

and yeah PB MB, it would be cool to me personally to have black on black lettering, hehe.......that way you're not quite sure 'what I am' until you're sitting behind me or pass me........

You will not be disappointed with blk ash. I was on the fence between it and the burl wood. Couldn't be happier. I would not install the mud flap though. It looks Grandpa style, unless you are a GP than it's look really cool. 550 is like butta. Can't wait to see pics of the mods you mentioned.

I spent about 20 minutes in the interior fooling around this morning while I was waiting to sign my name on the dotted line..........the official one......the computers went down the other day, but I still posted, hehe.....
I did confirm the flaps will have to be vetoed, bummer........but I am still planning on my other mods......someone had a sick set of wheels on here: black ones........the other day........man those things were/are sweet....
those will look good with my cargo carriers on top.....lol

now I just have to do that waiting thing........................

 

Sounds really nice...I had black on black on my Lexus GS400 with the Black Pearl badging...it was really nice...


...does MB have Black badging as an accessory item?...don't know if I've ever seen that.

This was a pic right after a complete weekend long detailing with Zaino products...that stuff is ridiculous. Miss that car, but I know it is in good hands.
