Roofliner Rattle

Roofliner Rattle
I am experiencing an occasional and annoying rattle which I think is coming from the right rear roofliner.
Has anyone else had this problem or know of a fix? I tapped my fingers along the rear headliner near the junction with the rear window (see pic) and I get a somewhat similar rattle.
I am driving a '10 E550 P2 w/ Driver's assistance package and love this car.
Suggestions?

I was expecting to hear some from my Pano roof. So far so good... not a peep. Could be something lose in the area. Happened to my 2010 Lexus. Found a screw rolling around.
Take it back to dealer to have them inspect it.

mine doesn't so much as rattle but crack / pop. when the chasis torques, i hera a loud snapping crack or popping sound. sometimes when i'm driving over uneven roads, i hear lighter popping sounds, not so much ratting.
the only rattling I get are from the front center air vents. I have to push on it and it'll go away. :-)

Clips for headliner cover, cable duct, rear dome lamp, and/or c-pillar paneling may be causing rattling noise. If you have not already done so, I would suggest you request shop foreman to ride along in rear while you drive to identify source. PM email address if want a copy of sheet showing headliner assembly details.

Roof Noise
I had a creaking noise that was driving me crazy on my E550. I took into MB Beverly Hills, the shop forman was amazing. He said the rubber was sticky from an unknown product that the previous owner had used. He cleaned it and used a mercedes benz product to treat the rubber to make it slipery and it stopped the noises. I wish I knew what product he used so I could buy it and treat all the rubber a few times a year. I am so happy with my car now. Now, all I hear is the roar of the engine propelling me into MB heaven.
