Depending on where you live, I recommend getting one installed. Here in Colorado, we get our roads sanded a lot during the winter which equals chipped paint on your hood and chips in your windshield. It is a little bit of insurance against premature wear and tear.
I have the arctic white and you can hardly notice my 3M clear bra almost one year after being installed and a lot of sun exposure this summer.

I had a 3M dealer put it on. I didn't do the entire hood, didn't see the point, I did about 1/4 - 1/3 up the hood and it is plenty. I also did the front bumper it looks great. Cost was 584$, so it is a little pricey, but better than having chipped paint and bugs drying under the hot FL sun!
I opted out of it when I made the purchase.
I have a related question - wash and wax. If this has been discussed somewhere, please guide me with a link. Obviously MB recommends we buy their products, but I am sure there are other better and more affordable products out there. I have heard a lot about Meguairs NXT for waxing. Not sure whats recommended for wheels.
Please share any experience that you may have. Please advise on both body and wheels.
Thanks.

Since you're in SD, call Premier. Not sure which brand they used on my cars, but their install is the best I've seen so far. Their webbie is www.premiermobilegroup.com and have a site in OC.

It was recommended after a lot of investigation on the other forum benzworld, in their detail section you will see a thread I started on tip/best way to wax a black car.
FTB
Financing the Car = Yes its worth it / Ensures the cars stays clean in case of resale.
Lease = you would be a fool ,lol unless you are looking to keep the car in the end.
Guess, its up to you!

Have to wait for next month for that.
