Coming from W204. noob Q's re: Command
Just picked up an E350 w/o nav.
In my C300, the command screen couldn't display the song titles from my iPod that were in korean and japanese. And that was the whole point of getting a Nav, to have ipod song info displayed on the command screen not just on the speedo.
So, I bought the car w/o nav, thinking what's the point if command can't display song title in jap&kor.
Now i had my contacts downloaded from an iphone and wtf? it displays the contacts both languages!!!!
Now, the question is
1) if I get a MB ipod kit, will it display song info on my basic command w/o nav?
2) there is an PCMCIA slot that actually opens up and has eject button, where as in W204, if you didn't get nav, you don't get HDD, and you don't get a PCMCIA slot. Does this mean I can plug in a PCMCIA adapter and have songs played off of it?
