I believe this must be the button that you can press that de-activates the alarm if the car sensors detect the car is being towed? My previous 2 Benzes had this button, yet my W212 doesn't.

I noticed, no 2010 I've seen seems to have it, regardless of how well optioned it is.

Then I noticed recently, some 2011's have that button back. Also, EU cars all seem to have had it (or the option of it) since the beginning of the W212 run.

Basically, all the cars without it, have 2 "filled" buttons (sunshade, and rear head rest lowering), and two that are empty (could have done something fancier with that section M-B). Cars with that "P))))" thing, still have one spot open.

You must not have encountered a 2010 with Parktronic. That button silences the audible alert from the sensors when you get close.

This button is to activate/deactivate the PARKTRONIC feature.

Come on, you guys are fulfilling the stereotype of the old man in a Mercedes.

Don't you ever read the manual or just push the buttons and figure it out?

It's not rocket science.

Unless you're the Commander.

The commander is my hero. I strive to be him! What was Audi thinking by making him out to be anything less than what we all aspire to be?
