A bit of a stuttery/chuggy idle when I have the car in gear, after just turning it on

I just recently noticed this, as it seems that's how subtle it is.

When I'm moving cars around in my garage, I notice that when I have the E sitting in reverse (maybe drive too, haven't payed attention), after just turning it on, the motor feels like it's bogging a bit, I want to say it's extremely slightly "rough", but it doesn't feel like that's the issue, as much as it is the motor feels like it's close to bogging (my natural instinct is to want to rev it to wake it up to get to proper smoothness), so the idle is kind of puttery.

Anyone ever ever notice this on theirs?

Having a slight rough idle at start up is normal but should subside within 30 seconds or so. How many miles on your car? You can run your car close to empty on gas, then put in a reputable fuel cleaner like Chevron Techron or Shell's Gumout REGANE(my preference) AND shell's octane booster. Fill her up at a top tier gasoline pump and drive till near empty. See if that helps any at all.

WWW.TOPTIERGAS.COM will tell you what gas stations have top tier gas.

Hope this helps.

Thanks. It almost just feels like the idle is low. But again, I don't recall this happening when I get home, just when I first start it (not in the morning though, I could have driven it just 2 hours prior, and it'll do the little chuggy thing).

The car only has just over 2K Miles on it.

I just realized how that sounded. I didn't mean it like that, I actually mean if I move around my and my girlfriends cars for whatever reasons. I just have 2 as my own, and 1 sits outside.

It might be related to the hesitating transmission issue that is being discussed in another thread. The torque convertor actuation might be a bit tight too. Do you also experience 1-2 or 2-3 shift hesitation when cold?

Hmm, I don't recall feeling any hesitation. I've owned the car during SoCal summer though, so not sure if that would be a reason why I haven't.

I have had the occasional (rare so far) instance where I put the car in gear, and the crappy 7G doesn't read right away, and the car will act as if it's in "Neutral" for a second, until the computer catches up. However, this might have just happened once or twice.

I'm so used to problems with the 7G through my '06, and even this '10 has hiccuped a few times, that I might be experiencing issues with it, however I'm so used to how poorly it operates in a glitchy sense, that anything less than horrible has become acceptable to me from the 7G Tronic.
