X-pipe, possible?

Anyone put an X-pipe on their E? Is this even possible? Just wanted to get a little meaner exhaust sound, the E coupe sounds good but the sedan is pretty tame.

Have u considered the E63 amg exhaust... A friend of mine got a S350 and installed the S63 amg exhaust and for a V6 it sounds pretty good! But alot different than the V8!

That would be interesting, if someone could get the part numbers we could put them in parts.com and get an idea on the price. But for $4000 at evosport, it seems a little rich!

But I bet you would pick up some power.

None fast enough!
Our x-pipes for that car are $2500 and they are US Stainless Steel and fully tig welded. There is a difference in the quality. Not inexpensive, but very nice.

thanks

Brad I looked at the graphs (but they show with the headers), what would you estimate (only estimate) the gains to be with a tune and the x pipes.

FTB

PS I assume no issue matching to the stock headers?

for a 550?

I would say x-pipe and tune will be 20 at the wheels (and I am very conservative in my estimations).
