Painting the mesh of the star grills.

Man, I cannot get any body shop to paint my silver mesh on my star grill flat black.......they all say it is too hard.

Might just try it myself.

Zinny, try New Central Auto Body, 47th. and Nicollet, Mpls. 612-827-2589
They specialize in Mercedes body/paint work. Excellent work.

Thanks Skyking. Went to a body shop in Stillwater. They said they could do it. Going to cost about $175 bucks but they are going to "scuff" the entire mesh to make sure the paint sticks. Really good guy. I am also getting some chrome mirror covers painted sliver (Like the s4/S6 lines at audi). I have Steel Gray and think that contrast with the grill will really go well together.

Found out my car is out of production and headed my way!

Glad you found a paint shop to complete your work.
I have been following the transit on my vehicle. If you would like some help in tracking it email me. Then you can watch and wait.
