I'm a new 2011 E63 owner and I think that I stumbled onto a short-cut to access your list of favorite telephone numbers stored on your iPhone. When in the phone screen on the MB Comand system, simply press and hold the numeric pad key corresponding to the favorite on your iPhone. For example, my home number is the first number on my iPhone favorites list and my wife's cell is second, and so on. To call my wife's cell, I just have to press and hold the number 2 button on the Comand system. To call home, I press and hold the number 1 button ...

I looked around the forums and haven't seen anyone report this. Hopefully, someone will find it useful.

I use voice dial for same purpose, however thanks for the hint.

Geo- Thanks for the tip. I had no idea about the shortcut. Its actually faster than the Voice Command.
