I thought I had read that 2010 or 2011+ E350's would have 300+hp engines?
Perhaps it's only for some MB's but I just checked edmunds for some specs on E350 sedan/coupe, and they both still have the 268hp 6-cylinder. Not that there's anything wrong w/ the engine, but given that all the other makers(japanese, korean, and US) are putting up 300+hps, i would have thought MB would do at least that.

I'm with ya bzliteyear. I actually posted a similar question yesterday. I thought I had read an hp bump was coming. I also read the threads on the e550 getting close to "real world" mpg near the e350. I want to say the 211 did the bump in 4 years into the model run, but I could be wrong. I would love to hear if someone has any info on this. We are getting close to a purchase of a 212. I also thought I read the next 6cyl could get better mpg. Thx

 

DI 3.5L V6 is supposed to be here for 2012 MY, which will have about 300-310 HP from what we've heard.

I thought it was the same engine as the current 3.5, just with D.I (hence the HP boost, and MPG improvements), but then I read it'll be an entirely new motor with the same 3.5 size.
