I had a left front headlight bulb go out today, I removed the cover but cant figure out how to remove the socket to expose and remove the bulb and replace? Anyone done this yet?

Shouldn't it be covered under Warranty?

P1 Car, Halogen headlights, not Xenon. It looks like the set up is similar to our W211, but there is so little room and it is set so far back that you cant work and see at the same time. Have to look and then reach for whatever will dislodge the housing that holds the bulb.

Hi, I just did mine today, you need to remove the buld together with the harness first, you do this by twisting the holder of the bulb (do not hold the harness). After you have remove the bulb and harness, you just have to use a small screwdriver to remove the buld from the harness. If you are working on the drivers side, it will be easier to do it from underneath the car, removing the wheel and the plastic cover.
