Anyone interested in trading their leather steering wheel for wood

I have a e coupe and figure that the steering wheel and shift knob are the same as the sedan. Is anybody interested in trading their leather steering wheel and knob for a burl walnut wheel and knob. My interior is ash. I have the sport three spoke wheel

Please let me know

Only MBs - the best or nothing
1. Since you're in W212 forum, sedans do not have shift ***.

2. Most (if not all) will not just "trade" sculpted AMG 3-spoke steering wheel for a non-AMG "regular" 3 spoke burl walnut one from a coupe. In additions to obvious, most sport sedans have black ash wood instead of brown burl walnut. (BTW burl walnut in a coupe is much nicer than burl walnut MB uses in sedans).

3. Try swapping with a coupe /conv. owner in W207 forum. I would not expect an AMG steering wheel though, just a "regular" 3 spoke leather one which is still sportier IMO that a 3 spoke wood one.

4. Your best or may be only option for AMG wheel is:

How is the Burl Wood different in Coupe's and Sedan's?

It appears to be darker in a coupe. In all coupes I saw, burl wood was consistent and reach looking. In sedans that I saw, it appeared much lighter, almost faded like.

the post was a feeler for anybody interested. Some like wood since its an option from MB. I myself did not have the option when I bought the car so I was reaching out to see if anybody was interested. A three spoke amg is sportier hence my offer. Some people don't care for sporty especially in a sedan.

Thanks for the ebay post but that is a black steering. In anybody interested I can send pics to see if matches your car

FYI, all AMG sport steering wheels in W212 sport sedans (regardless of interior color or engine) are black and only black. If you want it in a color to match your ash interior, you have to custom order/make it. Have you seen it in a color other than black in any W207 E550 coupe? I have not.
