original Continental tire warranty?

Hi guys,

I posted this in the E63 forum, but I figured I would post here to see if anyone knew the answer.

---------------

Does anyone know if their is a road hazard warranty with the original continentals that come with the E63? I just a nail close to the sidewall and I know it can't be repaired.

I also know Continental gives a free road hazard warranty on their tires when you buy them from an authorized dealer.

I was hoping that Conti gives this same warranty with tires that come with the E63 when you buy them. I looked in my glove box and didn't find any tire warranty info...

Anyone know or have experience? Thanks in advance!

Sorry to deflate your balloon, but I blew up one Conti same day as I drove the "C" off from the dealer. No dice, road hazard. You ought to buy another was the answer.
Since they were setting up a formal office in Argentina, they also were advertising return acceptance for exchange, for any reason. I understand they never honored this statement.
I ended up switching to Yoko and I am super happy with the move.

PS: I already had a sour taste in my mouth about Contis. Several years ago I bought some for my wife's car, and they soon loosened up the belts.
Germany is not the place to shop for rubber products.
